Praise And Worship "Click"

Sometime Ppl around me will ask me..

How to lead a Praise n Worship..

N i always say..

I do not know how to lead...

I just Sing with my heart.Lead with my heart.

Thats The Click!

But when i Think carefully...

I have to admit that...

To lead a praise n worship,

Personally,

i Do think there are some Criteria that we have to look in:

1. Click Message

- I'm sure that most of the hymns,

there are background story behind the songs.

Try to understand the message in the songs.

Dont Get it? Listen with your heart.

Stil Catch no Ball? Sing with your heart.

Still Nothing? Listen and Sing until you can Feel~the song.

U gotta understand them before you bring them

"In" your praise n worship session.

So.. choose your songs wisely...ask for advice or suggestions...

Don ever choose the songs that you are not familiar with.

2.Click Team

-Well, approximately a good praise n worship

is an output from a good praise n worship team.

The "Good" team i mean is the Regular Team.

Dont ever change your Pianist, Drummer etc to often,

as you got to have the BOND among your team members

(Unless all of them are very well experienced).

Choose Wisely on your team members.

ALLOCATE THE RIGHT PERSON

IN THE RIGHT POSITION.

Find the "Click" among yourselves.

Encouragement to your team members

is always a good thing to keep the team moving.

(example gives a Thumbs up to your drummer

when he/she rolled the drum perfectly!I always do that last time =p)

3.Click Pre-Arrangement

- After you have understand the songs,

and your team members had already been chosen.

Do your arrangement before you call them up and practise.

This is to prevent wasting time during practise

while discussing on the arrangements and details.

Just roughly arrange the songs sequence,

and also the music' arrangement.

Imagine how you want the songs being perform.

Maybe Piano Intro first? Or Keyboard String first?

or Guitar Plucking or drum Rolling etc etc etc.

You can do this while driving..

n listening to the Actual Songs for reference.

But remember, do Something not to boring,

but just a bit CREATIVE will do.

That's the "Click!"

4. Click Practice

-This is time where the BOND being build up.

The "FEEL" being brought up among the team members.

For Beginners or those who are not so familiar with each other...

Practice, Practice and Practice;

For those who have been Playing music together more than 1 year..

Practice Practice and Practice as well.

For those who have playing music more than 2..3..5 years...

also Practice Practice and Practice.

No harm to practice more.

Don ever underestimate the importance of practice.

At least 45 mins- 1:30 hours for 3-4 songs right?

You want to get a 80% in your actual Praise n Worship..

bare in mind that u gotta put in 200% effort for it..So?

Don lazy in practice..

5. Click Prayer

- A lot of praise and worship team never practice this.

Prayer is very important for Praise and Worship Team.

Before you practice, you pray.

After you practice, you pray as well.

Leave it all to God... And He will listen to our prayers..

he will guide us... Put your pnw team in god's hands..

We can never succeed unless the help of God.

So.. Click Prayer.

Bla Bla Bla.....

* Eventually..the CLICK that i mentioned above

are more in practical part..

Behind the CLICK..

there's a TRUE CLICK that cant be taught..

That i Don even know how to share with you all...

You have to find the TRUE Click by yourself.
